Lost and Found

Nowadays the police do not get involved with lost and found dogs and the really frustrating part is that our dog wardens only work Monday to Friday so you will be going out of your mind as to what to do if you lose your precious friend during a weekend.

Help is here!

First of all, contact all of your local vets as they will keep a record and are open 7 days a week in most cases.

Secondly, ring me on 07842 872834 and I will help as much as possible and register your dog missing until the wardens are open on a Monday morning.

If you do find a dog during a weekend and are able to keep it until Monday that’s great, but if not please ring me.

All dogs must be registered with the wardens as they keep a database and try to match lost and found, however even when registered you are able to keep a dog until the owner is located which frees up much needed space in authority kennels.

The Dog Warden office number is 0113 222 4406 but please do not hesitate to contact me if you need any help.

Thank you.

Jo
